user interface follows an easy-to-learn single-window paradigm and is based on a ribbon concept that allows for a logical grouping of multiple functions under a ribbon tab.
This means that WaveLab's powerful editing, processing and rendering functions are on hand at any time and are located
right above the waveform. WaveLab Pro 9 also redefines the mid/side editing and processing workflow, by giving you direct access to the mid and side signals of your audio material. This lets you assign any of your favorite plug-ins to each of the
signals and perform sophisticated editing and processing operations.
One of the most creative features in WaveLab Pro 9 is MasterRig. MasterRig is a comprehensive mastering suite providing 8 plug-in slots that can be loaded with six all-new effects such as Compressor, Limiter, Saturator, Imager and dynamic EQ. Additionally, MasterRig's new eight-band equalizer allows for sophisticated sound enhancement while the new SoX-based Resampler improves quality when converting audio material to other sample rates. WaveLab Pro 9 also comes with a new master section including full mid/side and left/right capabilities, more plug-in slots as well as a plethora of monitoring options. Furthermore, the new window-docking system provides maximum freedom for adapting WaveLab to your individual needs.
